These are amazing skates for the money! I use mine for long distance skating and hope to race on them this year at the Northshore Inline Marathon. Great fitting boot and long lasting wheels that came stock on the skates. The hardness is just right for our lousy paved streets, and the frame that they roll on is perfect blend of stiffness and flex. They are however, not easy to manuver on. The bigger wheels mean you have to think ahead if you need to act fast. But, that was not what they were built for so thats OK. My only complaint is that they do weigh a little bit more than skates I have used in the past. This is not a problem in how they perform, just a little more heft on the feet if you will. Buy them, you will not be dissapointed!K2 Moto 90 Men's Cross Training Skate

I purchased these skates at the age of 54 to learn to roller blade. I used to ice skate at an average level and ski at an advanced level several years ago. Although they were not reccomended for beginner skaters I was up and going in about 15 minutes doing the bare basics. Very happy to purchase protective wear tho, already saved myself a wrist and an elbow injury. That said these skates are great, fit perfectly, (size 10 was size 10) no excess movement in the frame, built quite well compared to others I looked at. Interestingly enough, they were actually better than the smaller wheeled skates reccomended for beginners with better bearings, frames and boots as well as better pricing than the lesser quality ones. I went blading over relatively coarse concrete and they rolled well and yet gripped the pavement well. I was pleasantly amazed. The only issue was they came in white with blue trim instead of the picture shown which was gray and red. I just got a helmet to match the protective wear non gloss black and they are just fine, I could care less about the color. I would reccomend these to beginning skaters who are slightly heavy and have skated or skied before. Very sturdy yet comfortable and light on the feet. Get protective wear tho esp wrist pads. I wish I would have tried this years ago. These beat the four wheel ones I learned to skate on back in the skating rink days when it was two + two rather than 4 in-line.

These skates fit great and are not too bulky. nor are their trucks to long, which was a concern i had when purchasing. i wanted a skate that was good a distances 8-10 miles, yet i could still ride in more recreational areas. these skates do both.

I will just give a quick thumbs up to these skates which I purchased based on reading other reviews as well as my own needs. The larger wheels definatly roll better then my old skates. The support is fine and they fit my feet well. I got a pretty good price for the 2009 models. The color maybe a little bland but thats not anything I care about in an inline skate.

**They are shipping the white/navy 2009 model, not the gray/red model pictured. I have not found a better skate for under $[...]. Very similar to the 84mm "Moto" but with smoother riding, longer lasting 90mm wheels. The sweet spot for committed fitness skaters. My k2 Moto skates held up for 2500+ miles. Minor annoyances: 1. I bought these in Feb 2009. Amazon did not ship the gray/red (2008) style pictured. They are the white/navy 2009 model, colors as tasteless as they are impractical (see the k2skates.com site for a close look). 2. One of the wheel bearings was a little crunchy. 3. K2 no longer includes the nice wrench/bearing tool.

This is where stability meets versatility. The added stability of the Mach 90 comes from high ankle lacing integrated with the cuff height for a secure feel. Its versatility comes from the 90mm wheels and ILQ-9 bearings for smooth effortless glide over any terrain. Combine that with the comfort of the K2 Softboot and you have the perfect skate for speed and distance

This are my first skates and they seem to be really nice. they were 100 usd in amazon.

I'm feeling disappointed with the order. The reason I bought this product because of the colour. In the picture show the rollerblade with the blue and gold colour. But, when I received my order.. What I get is black plain colour.. It dull and looks boring! I have wasted my money paying everything.. Including shipping.. It cost a lot!!! Stupid Company! Not recommended to everyone to buy with this company...

If you are skating as your primary workout activity, then the K2 Moto 84 Inline Skate is the ideal skate for you. It features V02 Alu frame, 84mm wheels and ILQ-7 bearings and is the perfect introduction to bigger wheels. The Moto 84 naturally comes with 84mm wheels, but are able to handle up to 90mm wheels if/when you want. Both wheel sizes allow for great speeds and depending on where you are skating, or your ability, it is nice to have options. K2's Softboot designs incorporate breathable, comfortable, and flexible materials that fit and function like a second skin while substantially reducing overall weight. The Moto 84 works well for skating recreationally, for fitness, training, and even longer skates.

Great skate. These are comfortable and fast. I recomend them for advanced beginer to advanced fitness skater. These are by no means racing skates. They are fast out of the box. When it comes time to change the bearings I will go with the ilq-9 pro insted of the classic. It's only 10 dollers difference in price for a better bearing. All in all great skate, comfortable, perfect for my neeeds as a recreational skater that does not want to be on slow skates. Two thumbs up.

I was looking for a pair of stakes that would be comfortable, fast, affordable and able to give me a great workout without hurting my feet. Nobody on the internet had any reviews about these pair of skates so I was taking a chance. The first time I put them on they felt VERY VERY comfortable. I wear a size 9.5 shoe, and the skates are 9.5....So I think it's safe to say that you can order your true to fit size. I haven't been on skates in about 10 years so it was a little difficult to balance on such big wheels, but after 2 days I was jumping around feeling the groove again. My sole purpose for getting these skates was to get my legs stronger and larger for when I fight. Doing all kinds of cross training, and balancing is great for the body, and these skates help me do just that. Going over large cracks and small, medium and large bumps is not an issue with these...they are SUPER smooth, and the bearings are very very quiet. The quality of the boot is GRADE A+, and the frame seems to be extremely sturdy so far. I've taken a good long run on these skates, and they did hurt the bottom of my feet the first two times, but that's because I haven't skated in so long...after that they never hurt at all...no blisters...no pain...just pure fast fun, and an extreme workout. The skates are very attractive looking, and I actually get compliments on the look of the skates all the time. As far as turning...it will require a little practice as the radius of the turn is a bit wider than most skates, but I don't even turn much, and when I do I have no serious problems at all. These are by far the best skates I have ever owned. Hope this helps...

It was just a few weeks ago that I received my new K2 Moto 100 Inline Skates from Amazon, intended to replace my aging 2005 Rollerblade Aero 10. I expected the Moto 100 to be superior, but I keep realizing almost with disbelief that the improvement is far beyond my expectations. First of all, these large skates are surprisingly lightweight. They have a long frame that extends behind the back of the skate and allows leaning backwards in a way I could not do before. The long frame provides a greater freedom of body movements, and when combined with the large 2x100/2x90 wheels, the ride experience is stable, smooth and relaxed. At the same time, the combination of these large wheels and advanced ILQ-9 bearings generates a fast ride with little effort. I would not recommend these skates to beginners, as speed is obtained very fast. The user must be comfortable with braking even on a perfectly flat surface... With the large wheels, I was concerned about the impact on maneuverability, and as suspected, it is certainly more challenging to make quick tight turns when compared to my previous skates that supported smaller 82 wheels. But obviously it is just a matter of time and practice to get used to the new dynamics. In my opinion this is an acceptable small price to pay. If anything to criticize, there is something about the design of the boot that makes it not perfectly snug on my feet. A little tight in the front, little loose in the ankles, I am not really sure what it is. But in general the boot is soft and comfortable and I am finding myself skating for hours with ease, covering loooong distances. Why didn't I get these before?
