BlinX Action Sports LED's: BlueReviewsI purchased 4 packs of Blinx, 2 blue and 2 orange, to put on my kids inline skates. Of the 8 lights, only 1 of the orange and 3 of the blue worked correctly. The others either would not turn on properly or would not turn off unless the LED was removed. Even with that, I installed 4 of them on my sons new skates for his birthday. They didn't stay on 5 minutes! Not on as in 'turned on' but on as in they fell off his skates within 5 minutes of using them! Luckily no one tripped over them on the skate floor! If you buy these be aware that they are called Blinx because they blink, not steady LED lights. They are VERY bright though. The adhesive may work better on very smooth shiny surfaces like the bottom of a skateboard but do not use them on plastic, no matter how well you clean it. Average Rating:  |

The lights were even better then i expected they help me be visible from all angles. I let her skate on the carpet first to get used to them and she just loves them. Not only that but the only time she takes them of is when her 2 year old brother pulls them of her feet because he also loves them soo much. so now I have to go back and get a second pair for him. THESE SKATES FIT MY DAUGHTER NICELY. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A DECENT SKATE FOR THEIR DAUGHTER. MY DAUGHTER LOVED THEM. These adjustable skates are perfect! They are well made and the adjustable feature works easily. My daughter luvs them she is 6 bout 2 be 7 & fits them on the 1st size so glad she likes them & they will get put 2 good use thru the sizes then handed down 2 her sisters!! When my daughter received them, both boxes were marked "Boys". However, when my grandsons opened them on Christmas day, one pair were girls skates. It was too late to return them at that late date and both boys wanted to skate. So my review is that the skates are fine but your quality support and shipping department leave a lot to be desired. I BOUGHT THESE SKATES FOR MY NEPHEW AND HE WAS VERY HAPPY. THE SKATES HAVE A NICE LOOK TO IT FOR BOYS! I BOUGHT THESE SKATES FOR MY NEPHEW AND HE WAS VERY HAPPY. THE SKATES HAVE A NICE LOOK TO IT FOR BOYS! I bought these for my 9 year old son. He loves them and can put them on by himself. We've had them for a few months and have had no problems with them. I bought these for my grandson and they have been great for him. He has enjoyed them very much. They seem to be quite rugged and have held up well. Chicago Girl's Sidewalk SkateReviewsI bought two pairs of these skates for my 4 year old twins. We've had them out 4 times ans so far so good. They are easy to get into and the velcro at the top lets you pull the skate tightly across. The skates are one size larger than my kids feet, but because of the velcro strap,it's not a big deal. They look fabulous, the ride seems very smooth. Both of my kids are actually rollerskating! I'd give it five stars but the wheels are already showing some wear (not anything big). I don't know if all skates would show wear after four outings on the driveway or not. Anyway, the skates will fit little feet and have room for little feet to grow, they are obviously well made, smooth ride, sturdy stoppers, kids love them. Wheels don't seem chintzy, they seem good, but I wonder if there isn't a kids skate out there with better. I bought these for my granddaughters, ages 5 and 6. The sizes I bought were perfect, so they seem to be true to size. The skates rolled great on the concrete sidewalk and even on the street. I would recommend these to anyone with little girls who want to learn to skate! We got these for my daughter's 4th birthday and she loves them. They are great for beginners. Very cute and lots of fun! My daughter loves them. I think the material that the toe stop is made out of may deteriorate rather quickly (it seems to rub off fast; she has only used the stops a couple of times, and there is a significant amount gone), and we will probably have to replace them sooner rather than later, but we are happy with the skates in general. Chicago Bullet Speed SkateReviewsI read most of the reviews and was surprised at how many negitive ones these skates had. Nevertheless, I could not pass up the price or the free shipping so I bought two pair, one for my 8 year old daughter and one for her best friend. No complaints here! Both skates look great, work great, and are still going strong. The girls skate both outside and in the rink and wouldn't DREAM of using their old skates ever again. These ones are definitely a step up from what they were using before. They really love the wide wheels, how smooth, and how much faster these skates are compared to their old ones. Mind you, their old skates weren't too bad, (they were the standard kiddie ones with the brightly colored wheels) but they certainly weren't these skates. If I had to nit-pick, I dont know if I would purchase these skates for a brand new skater only because I dont know if the "pleather" could take the beating their old ones took and still look ok to "hand-me-down" but these skates are durable all the same. This was a great purchase I didn't have to break the bank for so I'm happy about that. These are a perfect pair of beginners speed skate. I purchased them for my 9 yr old daughter and they fit, roll, and stop great. Now with the exception of making wheel adjustments, these are superb roller skates. I bought these as a Christmas gift for my nephew and he loves them. The shipping was a little expensive, but they were shipped and delivered on time. These skates broke the second time my daughter used them. They are very fragile and made of weak materials. The plastic pieces are very thin. She fell and bumped the wheels on the ground and the plastic support for the wheels cracked causing the front wheels to rotate out of position. The entire wheel assembly rotated on the bolt! Very flimsy! Very dissapointing for my daughter as they were a birthday gift. If you want to have faster wheels, change out the bearings. These have an ABEC rating of 1. That is the lowest ABEC rating - just change them out to a higher rating - like a 9 - and you can go a lot faster. If you do not know how to do it - most skate shops can do it for you.
