Roller Derby Web Stinger Adjustable Girl's Inline Skates, Small (12-1)ReviewsBought for my 7 yr. old. She loves them. No complaints. She can put them on and take them off all by herself. We've had them for about a month I think. They came quickly, she loved the styling and I have not been able to get her off them yet! These are a great pair of skates. Three adjustable sizes (my daughter wears a 12-13 and there is room to grow in these), fit great, comfy. Only downside is my 7 yr old has a hard time tightening the straps, but she'll get better at this w/practice. Love the spider web design and hot pink color. I purchased these skates for my 5 year old granddaughter. She is able to easily skate around and has no problem balancing in them. They fit my granddaughter and with the size adjuster they fit her 10 year old brother, too. But, he won't be wearing these jazzy pink/white skates to skate in! I bought these for my 8 year old for Christmas and she has used them twice already and loves them. She says they fit well and has not mentioned any discomfort while skating. They seem well made; although I am not a fan of the "spider web" pattern on the boots, she thinks it looks cool. The only thing I think could have been designed better is the drawstring on the front. The string is so long and there isn't a good place to secure it (we ended up wrapping it around the top buckle while she skated) That's only a minor inconvenience, otherwise I think these are great. Advanced In-Line SkatingReviewsI was looking for a book on advanced techniques - this is NOT the book. She covers roller hockey, speed skating and other topics very briefly. The book is misnamed...........should read "In Line skating Activities"..... Advanced? Are you kidding? This book spends a lot of time about covering a broad range of topics - but none in depth. I was looking for a good book on techniques -- well this is NOT the one. It is very superfiscial and not worth buying. I found some "beginners" books with more info! This book covers fairly diverse inline areas- speed, hockey, fitness, etc and as a result does not delve too deeply into any one area. If you wish to pursue any one aspect of skating, I'd recommend finding something more specialised. For example, the two areas that I specifically wish to pursue, double push and stair riding, are not covered at all. I find it especially puzzling that stair riding could be missing from a book with this title.Still, as broad skating book, it's quite interesting and does have some good stuff on stroke technique. good book it tells you the basics and more. i loved it cause i love to in-line skate if you dont now after you read it you will... hope you like this book! infact i know you will by daniel pruitt Average Rating: |

Pro-Tec The Classic Multi-Sport HelmetReviewsWell I ride BMX and never really found it necessary to wear a helmet unless I was at a skatepark where they are required. I am very happy that I found the old school style of the protec helmet because it fits much much better than the new school ones with the styrofoam liner. This helmet fits my head great and it makes me feel much more comfortable when I am out riding. I also use this helmet when I ride my road bike as well. I have a road bike type helmet but it doesn't fit right and is uncomfortable and hideous looking. I feel this was a good buy for myself and can be for many others. Oh, and the helmet took about a week to get to my door. Not bad! Great price for this helmet! Works perfectly, just as a helmet should. It came in an XL so its one of the largest I could find, so it actually fit my big head! lol. I got it in a pretty HOT pink and LOVE the color! Recommended! I love the look and feel of this helmet. Works great and looks great for an even better price. Awesome helmets! My now 3 year old has had one since he was 2 years old. We just purchased another for our now 2 years old. Both my sons love this helmet. They never argue to wear it. They fit better then any other helmets & has the full coverage protection for their heads. The price is great! Other kid helmets are about $5 cheaper but don't protect as much. I would rather have a helmet w/ full head protection than some child's helmet w/ a character on it any day!!! You can always add character stickers to this helmet to personalize it to your child's liking. Plus, the color choices are great! Roller Derby Women's Roller Star Quad SkateReviewsExcellent roller skate. I bought this Roller Skate for my daughter and she loves it. Also, the services are very good. I received this product earlier than its scheduled delivery date. I have been an Amazon customer for a very long time and I still love Amazon. Thank you very much. I'm an idiot and thought that since the brand was "roller derby" these were derby skates. ha. I now know better and I'm using these ones to learn how to skate well before splurging on some speed skates. The only issue I have with them is that the soles push up when I put my feet in them. Very annoying. I purchased the women's roller derby roller star 550 quad skate for my eleven year old daughter. She absolutely loves them. We skate maybe once a month and the skates are actually good on a real roller rink floor. I would suggest a pair of these skates to a beginner skater. As you progress...the wheels will need to be changed. I just bought these skates and I haven't had a pair of skates since I was a little girl! But I started to remember how to skate not but five minutes after putting them on in my kitchen! And I am having so much fun! They skate really well, I love the white and purple tires! The white is a perfect canvas for me to doodle and draw on them! I'm so excited! I only gave them four stars because frankly I just bought them and haven't been skating for very long. But i'm sure with time and practice and a LOADS of FUN i'm going to edit this review and give these neato skates five stars! I can't wait to be a roller derby girl! Rollerblade Skate Bag 2010ReviewsI love the weight of this bag but it could be a bit more detailed like the bags used to be years ago. Kind of the bargain that stands up to abuse type though despite the thin construction. That and not many bags available so this one was worth the price. This bag is super light and yet strong enough to carry the skates with no problem. There are several compartments for other things, but I haven't used them yet. I really like the fact that they match my skates.. Rollerblade Women's Spark Pro Skate. Overall, a great buy. This bag is just right for the skates with an inside pocket for keys, etc. It is made of good quality nylon with a strap for carrying over the shoulder. Good bag, should be made of more durable material and a stronger zipper, but that would double the cost. It's a good value for the money, and better than a paper bag. :) This Rollerblade brand bag for inline skates is very lightweight but large enough to hold comfortably my SpeedMachine 10 skates which have a very long frame (100mm wheels + brake), as well as padding and helmet. There is a large mesh pocket on the outside (too small for a helmet but it will hold wrist guards and knee and elbow pads), and a small zippered pocket inside to hold a wallet or a couple of tools. You can carry the bag using the adjustable shoulder strap, or the comfortable lined handle. This inexpensive bag is nothing fancy, but it's well designed and very convenient, and just big enough to fit the largest skates. Recommended. Average Rating: |
